HBO has confirmed that the second season of its hit series TRUE DETECTIVE has welcomed Rachel McAdams, Taylor Kitsch, and Kelly Reilly to the cast. As previously announced, Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn also star.

According to Deadline, a U.S. adaptation of Chris O'Dowd's MOONEY BOY, has been picked up by ABC with a put pilot commitment.

Elisabeth Moss and Rachel McAdams, who were reportedly in the running earlier this summer, also remain in the mix.

ABC has pulled the plug on its freshman drama series BLACK BOX. All 13 epiosdes of the midseason entry aired Thursday nights, concluding with the July 24th finale.

The first season of the exciting medical drama BLACK BOX wraps up tonight with a two-hour Season Finale. Hour One is entitled 'Fear,' while the second hour is 'Consequences.' The episodes will deal with Drs. Catherine Black (Kelly Reilly) and Ian Bickman (Ditch Davey) facing the things they fear the most.
