This story of a woman's struggle to preserve her identity in the face of hypocrisy and exploitation will be given a unique telling with an all-female company of actors and a streamlined adaptation. Shakespeare & Company announces its winter session of in-school Residencies, which culminate in three exciting productions ripe with wit, magic, trickery and love. Lenox Middle School will perform Much Ado About Nothing on Wednesday, January 15th at 7:00pm, the Hayground School in Bridgehampton, NY will perform A Midsummer Night's Dream on January 30th at 6:00pm at the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor and Nessacus Middle School will perform Twelfth Night in February.

Together, these artists will mount five short works; all written, rehearsed, and performed in 24 hours. The 3rd Annual 24hr Berkshires/Capital Region Theatre is hosted by Proctors Theatre in Schenectady, NY, with a public performance taking place tonight, May 18 at 8pm.

The event is part of the 2nd annual 10X10 Upstreet Art Festival. The six performances and opening and closing art receptions will be held at Y Bar in Pittsfield from February 16 - 24.
