WAM Theatre has announced the cast for the second in their 2016 Fresh Takes Play Reading Series, Photograph 51 by Anna Ziegler, directed by Kelly Galvin. The reading will take place on Sunday, May 15 at 3 pm at No. Six Depot Roastery and Cafe, 6 Depot Street in West Stockbridge, MA.

WAM Theatre is excited to announce the line-up for its third season of their popular Fresh Takes Play Readings on select Sunday afternoons at No. Six Depot Roastery and Cafe in West Stockbridge. Each reading is followed by a talkback with the actors and director, and this year WAM is teaming with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Berkshire Community College to offer companion classes with WAM Artistic Director Kristen van Ginhoven on the Monday following each reading.

The entertainment begins the moment guests arrive at the 200 acre orchard with master slide guitarist Don McGrory's tunes playing at the twilight cocktail hour.

WAM Theatre has announced the cast for their reading of The Tall Girls by Meg Miroshnik, the next event in the 2015 Fresh Takes Play Reading Series. The first Fresh Takes reading of 2015 sold out last month, as did all five of the readings in 2014 inaugural season, proving Berkshire audiences embrace contemporary plays written by women and focusing on the unique stories of women and girls.

Shakespeare & Company has finalized casting for its 38th performance season, and released a complete schedule of Opening Night dates. WAM Theatre has announced the cast for a reading of Waxworks by Trina Davies, the final reading in the Fresh Takes Play Reading Series. An exploration of the tales we are told and the heroes and villains we create, Waxworks tells the story of Madame Tussaud, an extraordinary artist who developed the first worldwide entertainment brand. Waxworks is the fifth and final presentation in the new Fresh Takes play reading series, which offers new and reimagined works that tell women's stories. The series has proven popular with audiences, selling out its first four readings.

Founding Company Member and Master Choreographer Susan Dibble brings her newest production Dibbledance: Shoes On, Shoes Off to the Tina Packer Playhouse for a special ONE NIGHT ONLY performance Sunday, August 31st at 7:30pm.

WAM Theatre has announced the cast for a reading of Seven Homeless Mammoths Wander New England by Madeleine George as part of the Fresh Takes Play Reading Series.

The cast of How the World Began features Elizabeth Donnelly (WAM Theatre's The Old Mezzo, Ivoryton Playhouse's The Rainmaker), Benjamin Epstein (Shakespeare & Company's Henry IV, Parts 1 & 2), and Don Shannon (National Player's Twelfth Night, Barrington Stage Company's Enemy of the People). Tracy Liz Miller (Vermont Shakespeare Company, Associate Producer) will direct the reading.

No rural area has as many summer stages as the Berkshires of Massachusetts whose offerings overflow its borders.
