Kansas City Repertory Theatre is proud to congratulate What Would Crazy Horse Do? Director, Sam Pinkleton on his Tony Award Nomination Best Choreography for his work on this season's Broadway hit musical Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, which led the field with 12 nominations, including Best Musical. Pinkleton previously choreographed KCRep's 2015 acclaimed production of Hair: Retrospection.

Everything's coming up Tonys!
Spring has sprung, awards season has begun, and the latter is all that really matters to Broadway fans everywhere. Earlier this week, Jane Krakowski and Christopher Jackson announced the 2017 Tony nominees, celebrating the best of the 2016-17 theatre season (and what a season it's been!). Topping this year's list is Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, which received twelve nominations, closely followed by Hello, Dolly! and Dear Evan Hansen- picking up ten and nine nods respectively.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced that the world-premiere, Playhouse-born productions of Come From Away, featuring book, music and lyrics by David Hein and Irene Sankoff and direction by Playhouse Artistic Director Christopher Ashley, and Indecent, by Paula Vogel, have both received multiple Tony, Drama Desk, Drama League, Outer Critics Circle, Obie and Lucille Lortel Award nominations for their subsequent Broadway and/or Off-Broadway productions this season.

The Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway, will welcome Danny Burstein and Jane Krakowski to announce the nominees for the 2016-17 season on Tuesday, April 25th (11AM) in the Oak Room at New York's renowned Algonquin Hotel (59 West 44th Street). As If! CLUELESS Jukebox Musical Gets Another NYC Lab

As if... we can wait any longer! Amy Heckerling's jukebox musical adaptation of the hit '90s film CLUELESS is getting another developmental lab in New York City, according to an Actors' Equity casting notice. The workshop will run July 5 - July 27, 2017.
