Nickelodeon brings even more magic to its air this summer with the hit international series, Winx Club, beginning Monday, June 27, at 8 p.m.

Nickelodeon star and three-time NAACP Image Award winner Keke Palmer (True Jackson, VP, Akeelah and the Bee,Madea's Family Reunion) has been cast in the network's brand-new original TV movie, Rags. The modern-day fairy tale, starring Palmer as Kadee Worth and Max Schneider (How to Rock) as Charlie Prince, began production in May in Vancouver. Set to premiere in 2012, Rags is a music-infused, modern twist on the classic Cinderella story set against the backdrop of New York City.

Nickelodeon's 23rd Annual Kids' Choice Awards (KCAs) hosted by Kevin James slimed its way to stand as the second biggest KCAs ever in the show's 23-year history, averaging 7.6 million total viewers (P2+) on Saturday, March 27, (8-9:30 p.m. ET/PT). With kids, the live telecast scored 10.5/3.7 million K2-11.

The 41st annual NAACP Image Awards were held on Friday, February 26 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. Amongst the winners were the film 'Precious' which picked up the award for Best Motion Picture, Morgan Freeman won for his role in 'Invictus' and Gabourney Sibide garnered Best Actress for her leading role in 'Precious'. The ceremony was hosted by NAACP Image Award nominee and Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose and bestselling author and actor Hill Harper. Variety is reporting that Corbin Bleu will be the first star of the popular High School Musical film franchise to hit Broadway when he steps into the role of bodega owner Usnavi in IN THE HEIGHTS. Bleu will star in the show from January 25 - April 25, 2010.
