ESPN will present CHRIS BERMAN: HE DID GO ALL THE WAY tonight, Thursday, Feb. 2, at 10:30 p.m. ET. The one-hour tribute will celebrate Berman's career with ESPN and his influence on the sports media industry over nearly four decades. Berman joined ESPN on October 1, 1979, just three weeks after the network launched.

Comedian, actor, and author Patton Oswalt has found success in a variety of entertainment genres from his Grammy-nominated comedy specials to his many memorable film roles to guest appearances on his favorite TV shows, including "Parks and Recreation" for which he received a TV Critics Choice Award.

In 2017, ESPN Radio will celebrate its 25th anniversary, kicking off with a 25th Anniversary Special hosted by Keith Olbermann, with guests Tony Bruno and Chuck Wilson – all voices on the first ESPN Radio broadcast

On March 18, 2017, the Colburn School will honor alumna Anne Akiko Meyers at Taste of Colburn, an annual benefit event held on the school's Grand Avenue campus to support scholarship funds for the Colburn Community School of Performing Arts. Ms. Meyers will receive the Distinguished Alumni Award. In recognition of their philanthropy and contributions to the Colburn School community, Alice and Joe Coulombe will be recognized as civic honorees.

ESPN anchor Stuart Scott has passed away at age 49 following a long battle with cancer, ESPN announced on Sunday morning.

BWW earlier reported the sad news that EGOT winner and entertainment icon Mike Nichols passed away suddenly on Wednesday. Friends and colleagues have already turned to Twitter to express their sorrow at the unexpected news. BWW will continue to update the reactions as they are posted.

At a public unveiling ceremony today, October 22 at 1:00pm, the 400 block of West 121st street between Morningside Drive and Amsterdam Avenue will officially be co-named 'George Carlin Way,' after the celebrated comedian, actor and author, George Carlin, who grew up on West 121 Street.

New Yorkers will be celebrating irreverent comic and famed Morningside Heights' resident, George Carlin all day on Wednesday, October 22nd. Beginning at 1:00PM, there will be a public ceremony for the co-naming of West 121 Street and Amsterdam to GEORGE CARLIN WAY. That celebration will continue with The Seven Dirty Words: George Carlin is Finally Getting His "Way" hosted by Colin Quinn at Caroline's on Broadway (1626 Broadway between 50 & 49 Streets).
