Lookingglass Theatre Company announces casting for the final two shows of its 2016-2017 season, including the U.S. Premiere of Beyond Caring, written and directed by Alexander Zeldin in association with Dark Harbor Stories, a company led by Ensemble Member David Schwimmer and Tom Hodges, as well as the remount of the Jeff Award-winning Moby Dick, adapted from the novel by Herman Melville and directed by Ensemble Member David Catlin.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company continues its 2014/15 Subscription Season with the Chicago premiere production of Marie Antoinette, a modern, witty portrayal of the young queen of France by David Adjmi and directed by Robert O'Hara. The cast features ensemble members Alana Arenas as Marie Antoinette, Tim Hopper as her husband Louis XVI and Alan Wilder as Sheep. Ericka Ratcliff takes on the role of Yolande de Polignac and Mrs. Sauce replacing previously announced ensemble member Ora Jones who had an artistic scheduling conflict.

Next is the US premiere of The Herd (April 2, 2015 - June 7, 2015), the deftly comic story of a suburban English family by actor-playwright Rory Kinnear. Ensemble member and Tony Award winner Frank Galati directs in place of previously announced director K. Todd Freeman, who had an artistic scheduling conflict. Ensemble member Lois Smith joins the cast of The Herd, which features fellow ensemble members Francis Guinan and John Mahoney.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company is proud to announce casting for the upcoming eighth annual First Look Repertory of New Work, featuring three developmental productions of new plays presented in rotating repertory July 29 - August 25, 2013 in the Garage Theatre (1624 N Halsted St). First Look 2013 includes: Buena Vista by Edith Freni, The Gospel of Franklin by Aaron Carter and Annie Bosh is Missing by Janine Nabers. The 2013 festival also features readings of three new plays during Professionals' Weekend (August 8 - 11), including Tempo by Mike Batistick, Your Name Will Follow You Home by Carlos Murillo and BARBECUE by Robert O'Hara. 'Deja vu / All In' - Old and new Detroit collide in a case investigated by Fitch, Washington and Sanchez where a missing teen, Seth Cantor, seems to have been violently murdered - but there isn't a body. The detectives begin to unravel the disturbing homicide, which leads them to Seth's high school buddies, who are running drugs in from Canada and may have killed their friend by copying the MO of the Purple Gang, an old Detroit mob. Meanwhile, Longford and Majahan explore the world of high stakes poker when a victim, who was trying to amass winnings to pay for his daughter's organ transplant, is found murdered and stripped of his prize money from a tournament, on 'Detroit 1-8-7,' TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 16 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
