Epic Megalopolis Productions (New York/Los Angeles) will produce a concert reading of Swedish pop band Brainpool's new rock opera JUNK on November 17th and 19th at the National Opera Center in New York City. JUNK will be the first rock opera presented in the new recital hall opened by Opera America earlier this year, a venue dedicated to supporting the creation, presentation, and enjoyment of opera. For generations, musical theatre writers have come to New York City to change the world. 'Once Upon A Time In New York City' was about the people who have changed THEM. This concert featured musical theatre writers- who are ages 19 to 90, who were born everywhere from Kansas City to San Francisco to Montreal, who are established and who are emerging- each writing a song about someone who has changed their idea of New York City.
