Lindsay Mendez and Derek Klena recently joined the cast of Wicked, assuming the roles of Elphaba and Fiyero. They join a cast which includes Katie Rose Clarke as Glinda, Randy Danson as Madame Morrible, Adam Grupper as The Wizard, Catherine Charlebois as Nessarose, F. Griffith (Giant, American Idiot) and Christina Sajous (Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark, American Idiot) will star in the industry lab presentation of the new musical, BEYOND THE MUSIC, on January 28th and 29th. After breaking box office records and selling out in record time in 2009, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, returns to Salt Lake City's Capitol Theatre July 18-August 26. Tickets for the return engagement go on sale today, Friday, May 11 at 10am. Part of Zions Bank Broadway Across America - Utah.

On Tuesday, March 27th, Rosie's Theater Kids held an event called 'Passing It On,' where the Kids performed a show which they learned in tandem with mega mentors like Audra McDonald, BD Wong, Brandon Victor Dixon, Dana Moore, and Derick K Grant, among others. The show was held at Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater @ 7pm, and the event honored Tom Viola, Executive Director of Broadway Cares / Equity Fights Aids. Check out photos from the event below!
