Tony Award-winning actress Lillias White delighted students as their special surprise guest during the Broadway Artists Alliance 2011 Winter Workshop. Lillias White (Fela, The Life, etc.) lent her talents for a surprise Q&A with the students of Broadway Artists Alliance. White shared her experiences in the business and expert advice to the 100 eager up-and-coming young artists ages 10 to 21.

Deadline.com reports that Katie Finneran has joined the cast of I Hate My Teenage Daughter for the new Fox comedy, I Hate My Teenage Daughter. Sherry Bilsing-Graham and Ellen Kreamer have written and will produce the pilot. According to the report, I Hate My Teenage Daughter 'centers on two women, Annie and Nikki (Finneran), who now have daughters just like the girls who picked on them in high school.'

Producer Daryl Roth presents the musical DEAR EDWINA, a holiday favorite with critics and audiences alike, returning for its third season to the DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street, NYC) for a limited run beginning Friday, December 17, 2010, playing through Friday, February 25, 2011. This musical comedy for all ages is written by Zina Goldrich (music) and Marcy Heisler (book and lyrics) and is directed by Timothy McDonald. Kyle Dean Massey (Gabe in Broadway's Next to Normal) spent Sunday, November 14th, mentoring the young talent of Broadway's future as he led a Pop/Rock and Next to Normal-themed master class with Broadway Artists Alliance. Kyle Dean skillfully guided a master class in 'Song Interpretation' to a group of eager and talented young performers ages 10 to 21. Kyle Dean's morning class was followed by an advanced audition technique workshop with a top representative from Telsey and Co. casting agency.
