FXX's hit comedy series The League will return for its sixth season on Wednesday, September 3 at 10:00 PM ET/PT. FXX will air 13 all new episodes during Season Six followed by nine new episodes of comedy series Ali G Rezurection at 10:30 PM ET/PT.

FX Networks announced a slew of pickups this morning, with Justified getting a fifth season pickup on FX, while It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League and Legit will all return and move to FXX, announced John Landgraf, President & General Manager, FX Networks.
Three young women - Sarah (Kate Bosworth), Abby (Katie Aselton) and Lou (Lake Bell) - get together for a private campout at one of the iconic settings of their childhood, an empty island off the coast of Maine, to renew their bond of sisterhood. They quickly learn, though, that the island is anything but empty, when they encounter three recently-returned servicemen, who have come to the island to hunt. A misunderstanding quickly turns to tragedy, and the three women soon find themselves the targets of the hunt. What started as a simple getaway to recall old times is now a race for survival as three ordinary woman must find extraordinary strength in order to beat the odds against violence and the elements.

Adult Swim announced today that Newsreaders, a new series from the creative team that brought you the Emmy(R) Award-winning comedy Childrens Hospital, will premiere on Thursday, January 17th at midnight (ET/PT).
BLACK ROCK is directed and co-written by Katie Aselton. Mark Duplass also wrote the film. Aselton also stars in the film with Lake Bell and Kate Bosworth. BLACK ROCK is set for a theatrical release on May 17, 2013.
