Walt Disney Records releases the soundtrack for Disney's 'Descendants' today, July 31, the day the eagerly-anticipated movie premieres on Disney Channel (8:00 p.m. ET/PT).

Made for kids, tweens and families, the movie premieres TONIGHT, JULY 31 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

Broadway is abuzz with news about NBC's upcoming presentation of The Wiz, with Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige and original Dorothy Stephanie Mills all having just signed on to star. They aren't the only ones with love for The Wiz though. Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the success of the premiere concert reading of the first act of DreamWorks Theatricals new stage adaptation of The Prince of Egypt which was part of Bay Street Theater's 24th Annual Summer Gala which took place in Sag Harbor at the Long Wharf on July 11, 2015 to benefit Bay Street's educational and theatrical programs. ThePrince of Egypt features book by Philip LaZebnik (writer of Mulan, Pocahontas) and music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (composer of Wicked,Pippin, Godspell); both creators attended the Gala. Bay Street's Artistic Director Scott Schwartz directed the reading, Dominic Amendum was Musical Director, and casting was by Stewart/Whitley.

Drury Lane Productions and Jennifer Maloney-Prezioso (Broadway's Spring Awakening, Rock of Ages) present the pre-Broadway production of Beaches, A New Musical, based on the beloved novel by Iris Rainer Dart. The show began previews June 24 and opens tonight, July 2nd, running through August 16, 2015. The original musical is written by Iris Rainer Dart and Thom Thomas, with music by David Austin and lyrics by Iris Rainer Dart. The production is directed by Eric Schaeffer (Broadway's Follies, Million Dollar Quartet). BroadwayWorld has a first look at the stars in action below!

THE 69TH ANNUAL TONY? AWARDS, aired live from Radio City Music Hall, last night Sunday, June 7 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. We open with Maggie, Josh and Liza clearing the apartment of the girls' mattress — there was a case of bedbugs in the building, and though it wasn't directly in their apartment, Maggie and Liza are clearing out just to be safe. While Maggie hightails it to her cousin's, Liza's — you guessed it — temporary living with Josh. Cue the foreplay and sexual innuendo… and there sure is a lot of it. 

'HOUSE OF TARDS' by the comic trio Unitard will play two more shows at Stonewall Inn on Thursday, May 21st and Thursday, May 28th at 8:00 pm. We interviewed Nora Burns, one of the performers and founding members of the group.
