Legendary actor/comedian Don Rickles will be honored with the Friars Club's Lifetime Achievement Award for Comedy at a star-studded awards gala which will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York. Among those scheduled to participate in honoring Rickles through their songs or words will be Bob Costas, Tony Danza, Kathy Griffin, Diana Krall, John Mayer, Bob Newhart, Regis Philbin, Joan Rivers and Bob Saget.

Executive Producer Gabriel Gornell announced this will be the first ever telecast of the Outstanding Special Class-Animation Award to be presented by Carrie Fisher.

Appreciate your kind words, PH,' she posted in response to a tweet from Perez Hilton about the show's cancellation.

Beginning tomorrow, April 6th, Laura Jordan will join the cast of Off-Broadway's smash hit SILENCE! The Musical as Clarice Starling. Following the announcement that SILENCE! would be ending its long run at the end of 2012, ticket sales unexpectedly soared, shattering all previous box office records held by the show. Subsequently, the producers determined that the production would reopen on January 19th. After opening initially at Theatre 80 on July 9, 2011, SILENCE! was extended numerous times by popular demand and transferred theatres twice, ultimately landing at the new Elektra Theatre in Times Square which was constructed especially for the show.
