BA Austin's critically acclaimed intimate memoir, Smell the Raindrops: One Young Woman's Journey through Life, Love, and Recovery (Crescendo Press), shows no signs of being relegated to the dustbin of literary history. Two years after its official release, the book is still receiving praise, most recently having been named a finalist in the biographymemoirs category of the prestigious Pacific Book Awards Contest. Those who have made significant contributions to the arts in a variety of categories will be recognized for their achievements in enriching the communities and citizens of Utah at the 11th Annual Star Awards held Friday, March 11, 2016 at the SCERA Center for the Arts in Orem.

We open with Maggie, Josh and Liza clearing the apartment of the girls' mattress — there was a case of bedbugs in the building, and though it wasn't directly in their apartment, Maggie and Liza are clearing out just to be safe. While Maggie hightails it to her cousin's, Liza's — you guessed it — temporary living with Josh. Cue the foreplay and sexual innuendo… and there sure is a lot of it.

In celebration of awards season, Jon and Al Kaplan have released a new video for their song 'Eat My S**t' from their musical spoof of THE HELP. Singing in the video is Octavia Spencer performed by Lucretia T. Williams and Bryce Dallas Howard performed by Stephanie Koenig.

The NAACP has announced the list of nominees for 43rd Annual Image Awards. THE HELP, The adaptation of Kathryn Stockett's best-selling novel about black maids speaking out about their white employers during the civil-rights movement led the way with a total of eight nominations.

Acclaimed actress Jessica Chastain, winner of 2011 New York, Los Angeles and Chicago Film Critics and National Board of Review Awards and recently nominated for Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards, will make her Broadway debut starring in the Tony Award®-winning play The Heiress.

THE HELP is coming to DVD and Blu-Ray on December 6, 2011. The historical drama is directed by Tate Taylor and written by Taylor and Kathryn Stockett. The cast includes Emma Stone, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ahna O'Reilly, Allison Janney, Mike Vogel, Sissy Spacek, Jessica Chastain and Viola Davis.

SAG Foundation, in partnership with SAG Awards®, brought Octavia Spencer to Crescent Heights Social Justice Magnet to share with 60 fifth graders the importance and excitement of reading. The entire school, 360 students, formed a red carpet for her from the entrance, around the playground and finally into the library.
