However, 20th Century Blues, a world premiere play at the Contemporary American Theater Festival written by Susan Miller and directed by Ed Herendeen, breaks the mold when it comes to the female ensemble dramedy.

Broadway's master songman, Mandy Patinkin, accompanied by Adam Ben-David on piano, will bring his critically acclaimed theatre concert, MANDY PATINKIN in Concert, Dress Casual, to the Ed Mirvish Theatre for two performances only on June 15 and 16, 2016, at 8 PM. Tickets go on sale to Mirvish subscribers today, Monday, April 18, to American Express cardmembers on Wednesday, April 20 and to the general public on Tuesday, April 26. Mandy Patinkin has been fortunate to carve out a varied career including theatre, the concert stage, film, television, and as a recording artist.

Both are founding partners of Dodger Properties, which is responsible for over 150 productions of some of the most successful theatre on Broadway (56 Tony Awards), Off-Broadway and internationally. The gala will take place on Monday, May 12 at The Grand Ballroom of The Plaza Hotel, beginning at 6:30pm.

The 2014 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were handed out last night at NYU Skirball Center, hosted by acclaimed husband and wife actors and comedians, Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman. This year's event once again benefited The Actors Fund.

Before he was an Emmy-winning TV star, Mandy Patinkin was already a Tony-winning Broadway legend. The acclaimed actor, singer and storyteller will appear on the Heinz Hall stage with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra tonight, April 5 at 8 p.m. in his most electrifying role - concert performer.
