Anything Goes star Colin Donnell begins a leave of absence from the show today, January 24, to perform in Merrily We Roll Along at Encores! Bill English will assume the role of "Billy Crocker" tonight thru Sunday, February 19th. Colin Donnell will return to the show on Tuesday, February 21st.

Roundabout Theatre Company just announced that Julie Halston (The Divine Sister) will assume the role of "Evangeline Harcourt" on Tuesday, January 17th & Robert Petkoff (Ragtime) will assume the role of "Lord Evelyn Oakleigh" on Friday, January 13th.

Laura Osnes has been cast as Suzy in the New York City Center Encores! production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Pipe Dream running March 28 - April 1. Pipe Dream will be directed by Marc Bruni with music direction by Rob Berman and choreography by Kelli Barclay, and will play for seven performances at New York City Center, West 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues. The Encores! presentation marks the first time the musical will be seen on the New York stage since the original production closed in June 1956.

According to the NY Post, Broadway favorites Andrew Rannells, Annaleigh Ashford, and Colin Donnell took part in a workshop last month for a stage version of 'Diner.' Based on the 1982 Barry Levinson film of the same name, the project featured direction by Kathleen Marshall and music by Sheryl Crow.

Full casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale to the general public for the new musical comedy NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, featuring music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin. Academy Award-winner Estelle Parsons joins previously announced stars two-time Tony Award-winner Matthew Broderick and three-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara with Tony Award winner Judy Kaye. The production begins performances on Thursday, March 29, 2012 and will officially open on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Broadway's Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street).

As first reported back in the Spring of 2010, Sutton Foster and her ANYTHING GOES director Kathleen Marshall had teamed up on a reading presentation of THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN, which could be gunning for a Broadway revival in the near future. In 2010, Foster starred alongside Craig Bierko in the role of James Joseph 'J.J.' Brown. Michael Riedel had reported in the New York Post at the time that Reba McEntire was being courted for the famous role of 'Molly'.
