BROADWAY LOVE, an evening of love songs and signature favorites is now joined by 'Rock of Ages' star Constantine Maroulis, and from 'An American in Paris' & 'Chicago', Michael Cusumano. These two stars join Broadway favorites: Kerry Butler, Telly Leung, Christine Pedi, James Carpinello, Ana McCleskey, Kate Loprest and Clarke Thorell to help raise money for HT Theatre, a musical theatre dept based at High Tech High School in North Bergen NJ on February 2nd, 2015 at 7pm.

The Music Theatre Company joins forces with The Ravinia Festival for a special one night engagement of OSCAR & RICHARD & JOE: An Evening About Rodgers & Hammerstein's Allegro on Saturday, January 31 at 8:30 pm at Ravinia Festival's Bennett Gordon Hall, 200 Ravinia Park Rd., Highland Park, IL. What I found so utterly engaging about the world premiere of Steve Martin and Edie Brickell's new musical BRIGHT STAR is its complete unpretentiousness. Certainly its musical style --American bluegrass with a heaping helping of laid back mountain charm -- has the kind of lilting homespun ease that makes you feel like you're listening to the neighborhood jug band on mama's back porch, and there's something oddly comforting about that.
