The Paley Center for Media announced today that it will host its 13th annual PaleyFest Fall TV Previews September 5-15, 2019, at the Paley Center's Beverly Hills location. The ten-day festival celebrates the most anticipated new shows of the Fall 2019 television season as well as returning favorites from all five major broadcast networks, cable television, and premium streaming services. Each event includes screenings followed by star-studded discussions with the series cast and creatives.
Today, during the Television Critics Association's Summer Press Tour at The Beverly Hilton, Hulu's Senior Vice President of Originals, Craig Erwich, presented the company's lineup of upcoming original programming including Wu-Tang: An American Saga from Brian Grazer and The RZA, Dollface starring Kat Dennings, Looking for Alaska, based on the best-selling novel by John Green and produced by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, Reprisal from Warren Littlefield and starring Abigail Spencer and Mindy Kaling's reimagining of Four Weddings and a Funeral, all of which join the company's collection of premium original content.
Shay Mitchell will star Kat Dennings and Brenda Song in Dollface, according to Deadline. Mitchell will play Stella Cole, Madison's (Song) other best friend from college, free spirit, and charming hedonist. She replaces Lex Scott Davis, who was originally cast in the role.
Deadline reports that Alone Together star and co-creator Esther Povitsky will join Kat Dennings in Dollface, Hulu's 10-episode comedy series starring and executive produced by Dennings.

Hulu announced a 10-episode series order for Dollface, a new comedy from ABC Signature Studios. The new Hulu Original Series will star actress Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls), who is also set to executive produce the comedy alongside Creator and Writer Jordan Weiss (Harley Quinn) and Showrunner Ira Ungerleider. Additional executive producers include Margot Robbie, Brett Hedblom and Tom Ackerley for LuckyChap Entertainment; Bryan Unkeless and Scott Morgan for Clubhouse Pictures; Nicole King and Stephanie Laing (Vice Principals). Matt Spicer (Ingrid Goes West) will executive produce and direct the first episode.
With the holiday season fast approaching Arena Stage is readying their annual Gold Standard Musical. This year it's the classic ship shape Cole Porter musical from 1934, Anything Goes. The production begins performances on November 2nd and plays through December 23rd in the Fichandler space.
