The musical, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Hairspray) and choreographed by Olivier Award winner Sergio Trujillo (Jersey Boys, Memphis) with an original book by Academy Award winner Alexander Dinelaris (Birdman, The Bodyguard Musical), lands on Broadway following a world premiere summer engagement at the Oriental Theatre in Chicago.

All the proceeds for the evening will go to the Humane Society of New York, which has 'cared for animals in need when illness, injury or homelessness strikes' for over 100 years. The Humane Society saved Bisen-Hersh's cat, Smee's, life in 2009, and this annual benefit is his way of saying thanks.?

The 15th annual Long Island Gay & Lesbian Film Festival brings the best in LGBT Film to the Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington. With 12 feature films, 3 documentaries, and 3 Short Film Programs, the festival will again be the largest LGBT art event on Long Island.
