Ghostlight Records has recorded and released the Original Broadway Cast Album of the new musical comedy Something Rotten!.

For the first time since 1983 with LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, an Off-Broadway musical, HAMILTON, has won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical! Check out all the winners below!

SOMETHING ROTTEN!, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw, with music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell, has been nominated for a whopping ten Tony Awards, and they will soon take the show on the road. According to the New York Times, the new musical will launch a US tour in January 2017.

New York is about 500 miles from Cleveland. Several times a year I wander forth to see the bright lights of Broadway and venture into some theatres. This spring, during a period of a rash of show openings, I had the chance to see some excellent offerings.
