THEN SHE FELL Celebrates 4000th Performance on July 5

Third Rail Projects' award-winning THEN SHE FELL, currently in its seventh year, will celebrate its 4,000th performance on July 5, 2019.  This immersive theater event is inspired by the life and writings of Lewis Carroll (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland). THEN SHE FELL takes place at The Kingsland Ward at St. Johns, a century-old institutional building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where the action plays out on 3 floors. Tickets are currently on sale through September 29, 2019.

Martha Graham Dance Company Presents THE EVE PROJECT At The Joyce Theater In New York City

The world-renowned Martha Graham Dance Company returns to The Joyce Theater April 2–14, 2019 with The EVE Project, the Company's season theme celebrating female empowerment and the upcoming 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment. The season focuses on both historical and contemporary ideas of the feminine. Commissioned works from five of today's top choreographers will be presented, and the classic repertory features Martha Graham's heroines and anti-heroines—all with an underlying statement about female power.

Harkness Dance Festival Presents Ellen Cornfield Dance

This year's Harkness Dance Festival comes to a close with Ellen Cornfield Dance. The company will be presenting two repertory works, Pas de Detour (2016) and Close-Up (2017) along with the world premiere of Portal (2019). Performances are Friday, March 29 at 8pm and Saturday, March 30 at 4pm and 8pm..

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Presents Repertoire Highlights

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago's upcoming Summer Series program will feature highlights from the company's recent repertoire, including work by acclaimed choreographers Brian Brooks, Resident Choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo and Crystal Pite. The program will premiere at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance in Millennium Park (205 East Randolph Street) on Thursday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m., followed by performances Saturday, June 8 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, June 9 at 3 p.m.  Tickets are now on sale.

BWW Review: The 36th Annual Elliot Norton Awards

The Boston Theater Critics Association (BTCA) celebrated more than two dozen outstanding actors, directors, designers, and ensembles at The 36th Annual Elliot Norton Awards ceremony at the Huntington Avenue Theatre last night. The coveted Elliot Norton Prize for Sustained Excellence was presented to Leigh Barrett, Robert J. Eagle received a Special Citation in honor of his 50 years at Reagle Music Theatre, and the Guest of Honor Award went to internet sensation Randy Rainbow.

Hubbard Street to Present Two World Premieres This November

 Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, under the artistic direction of Glenn Edgerton, announces today, full programming for Season 39 Fall Series November 17- 20, 2016 at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance. Highlighting the engagement, Hubbard Street Resident Choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo's 15th original work for the company, a world premiere piece by 2013 Guggenheim Fellow and inaugural Harris Theater Choreographer in Residence Brian Brooks as well as the revival of two ensemble works by Ji?i Kylian.

Italian Choreographer Caterina Rago to Premiere LABIR INTO at New York Live Arts

Acclaimed Italian choreographer Caterina Rago will return to New York this fall with her company of eight female dancers in her new full-evening work, "Labir Into," October 6 though October 8 at New York Live Arts. Caterina Rago is the only female choreographer from Italy running a modern dance company in NYC.

Bailey Hall at Broward College to Welcome Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company

The critically acclaimed Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company will perform Song of the Phoenix at Bailey Hall at Broward College in Davie, Florida, on September 24, 2016 at 7:30pm, with a master class and special performance for students on campus on Friday, September 23, 2016.
