Photo Flash: In Rehearsal with Between Two Boroughs' SUMMERTIME, Beginning Tonight

Between Two Boroughs Productions and The Vanderbilt Republic are proud to present Charles L. Mee's Summertime, directed and choreographed by Jenn Haltman and starring Sergio Mauritz Ang, Spencer Aste*, Josh Doucette*, Sevrin Anne Mason*, Hubert Point-Du Jour*, Becca Schneider, Will Shaw*, Liz Wasser, and Sheilagh Weymouth*. Between Two Boroughs Productions and The Vanderbilt Republic are proud to present Charles L. Panic! Productions Brings 13 to El Portal Theatre This Weekend

After a sold-out initial run in Thousand Oaks, Panic! Productions is bringing its hit production of Jason Robert Brown's musical '13' to the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood for two performances, today and tomorrow, May 8 and 9.

Producer Janet B. Rosen previously announced that she will present two private industry readings of the critically acclaimed new musical In Transit today, May 7 and tomorrow, May 8, 2015. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies), In Transit features a book, music and lyrics by Academy Award winner Kristen Anderson-Lopez (Frozen), James-Allen Ford, Russell Kaplan and Sara Wordsworth.

The Jewish Museum Sets 'REVOLUTION OF THE EYE' Summer Programs

In conjunction with the Jewish Museum's exhibition, Revolution of the Eye: Modern Art and the Birth of American Television, on view from May 1 through September 20, 2015, the Jewish Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and Cooper Union are co-presenting a series of programs from May to July.

PEN World Voices Festival Panel Explores Legacy of H.G. Adler Today

Compared by critics to Kafka and Joyce, H. G. Adler is quickly gaining recognition as a key figure in 20th-century fiction. Adler is author of The Wall, a fictional account of his life as a survivor of the Holocaust; and Theresienstadt 1941-1945: The Face of a Coerced Community, the first scholarly monograph to describe the particulars of a single concentration camp, to be published in a new translation in October 2015. The Jewish Museum will present H.G. Adler: A Survivor's Dual Reverie, an author talk featuring Daniel Mendelsohn, Peter Filkins, Ruth Franklin, and H.G. Adler's son Jeremy Adler, tonight, May 7 at 7pm. Edwin Frank will serve as moderator for the discussion. This program is co-presented with the PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature, May 4-10, 2015.

Happy Hour Improv Set for Broadway Comedy Club Every Friday

The Broadway Comedy Club and SGF Productions have come together to create THE NEW YORK IMPROV THEATER. Formerly THE RED ROOM, this 70-seat theater is still home to great shows such as LMAO Off-Broadway and Improv 4 Kids. And now they are home to numerous New York City based Improv Teams.  Starting May, the room features 3-4 sketch and Improv troupes for a HAPPY HOUR showcase every Friday at 6:30pm. The club has waived all drink minimums for this series (Seriously a REAL Comedy Club in NYC foregoing its TWO drink minimum). In fact the $10 cover includes your first beer, wine or soda from the bar and the Broadway will be offering a number of happy hour drink specials 6-8pm.

MTC's NORTH BY NORTHWEST Begins in June

Melbourne Theatre Company, in collaboration with Kay + McLean Productions, presents the theatrical spectacular North by Northwest. Adapted by Carolyn Burns and directed by MTC luminary Simon Phillips, this stunning stage adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock's infamous spy thriller stars Matt Day as man-on-the-run, Roger O. Thornhill, and Amber McMahon as the cool blonde, Eve Kendall. This world premiere production opens on Thursday 4 June at Arts Centre Melbourne, Playhouse.
