STAGE TUBE: High Schoolers Shine at the 8th Annual Jimmy Awards; Watch the Full Ceremony!

Every year the nation's most talented high schoolers flock to the Minskoff Theatre for the NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS (NHSMTA)/JIMMY AWARDS. This year's the eighth annual ceremony took place on June 27, hosted by Tony Award®-nominee Zachary Levi. The coveted Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor was presented to Josh Stroblrepresenting The Jerry Herman Awards and Amina Faye representing The Blumey Awards.

Decades of conflict have hardened the Stein family in a cold war of sorts... until the family's maverick matriarch teeters between life and death in the Intensive Care Unit of a local hospital. As the family tries to navigate through the present circumstance in the dark shadow of the past, their cold war ... heats up. The bandages of old wounds are ripped off, creating new ones.

Museum of Arts and Design Announces New Board Leaders and Trustees

The Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michele Cohen as Chair of its Board of Trustees. Cohen succeeds Lewis Kruger, who has become Chairman Emeritus. MAD's Board of Trustees also elected Ann Kaplan as Secretary, and voted to appoint Joan Hornig and Barbara Waldman as new Trustees.

Judd Hirsch to Lead Berkshire Theatre Group's World Premiere of THE STONE WITCH

Berkshire Theatre Group and Artistic Director/CEO, Kate Maguire welcomes the World Premiere of The Stone Witch, featuring Tony, Golden Globe, Emmy and Obie Award-winning Judd Hirsch. Written by Pen/USA Award-winning playwright Shem Bitterman (Harm's Way, Open House, Influence; Film: Whitney, The Job) and directed by Drama Desk and Humanities Award-winning director Steve Zuckerman (Broadway: Nuts; TV: Everybody Loves Raymond; Film: Israel Horovitz's North Shore Fish), this production is produced in association with Darlene Kaplan Entertainment and Brierpatch Productions. The Stone Witch runs from July 21 through August 20, at The Fitzpatrick Main Stage in Stockbridge, MA.

American Ballet Theatre Announces 2016 Fall Season

Programming for American Ballet Theatre's 2016 Fall Season, October 19-30, at the David H. Koch Theater was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie.  The season will feature a World Premiere by Jessica Lang, the Company Premiere of Daphnis and Chloe by Benjamin Millepied and revivals of George Balanchine's Prodigal Son and Frederick Ashton's Symphonic Variations.

Doctuh Mistuh Productions Brings Back SILENCE THE MUSICAL

After its successful run in 2014, Doctuh Mistuh Productions will be bringing SILENCE! THE MUSICAL back to Austin, Texas for a three week run, August 18 through September 4. DMP will be remounting the revival at Austin Playhouse in Highland Mall. Amy Downing will be reprising her award-winning performance as Clarice Starling. She will be joined by original cast members Huck Huckaby (Hannibal), David Ponton (Buffalo Bill), Libby Dees Detling (Catherine & Senator Martin), and Matt Connely (Papa Schtarling). New cast members include Andrew Cannata (Dr. Chilton), Scott Shipman (Jack Crawford), Jessica O'Brien (Ardelia Mapp), Kathryn Lane (Dream Clarice) and Brian DeFilippo (Dream Hannibal). The production will be stage and music directed by DMP Artistic Director Michael McKelvey.
