Terrence Mann Leads Connecticut Rep's MAN OF LA MANCHA, 6/7-16

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) launches its 2012 Nutmeg Summer Series with Man of La Mancha, running June 7 - 16 in the intimate Harriett S. Jorgensen Theatre (lower Jorgensen Auditorium) on the UConn campus, Storrs.

CRT's MY FAIR LADY Closes 7/17

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT), concludes its 2011 Nutmeg Summer Series with My Fair Lady, closing July 17 in the Harriett S. Jorgensen Theatre (lower Jorgensen Auditorium) on the UConn Storrs campus.

Terrence Mann and Eileen Fulton Lead CRT's MY FAIR LADY, 7/7-17

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT), concludes its 2011 Nutmeg Summer Series with My Fair Lady, running July 7 - 17 in the Harriett S. Jorgensen Theatre (lower Jorgensen Auditorium) on the UConn Storrs campus. CRT is delighted to have soap opera legend Eileen Fulton, who portrayed Lisa Miller Grimaldi on As the World Turns for almost 50 years, starring as Mrs. Higgins in My Fair Lady.

2011-2012 Nutmeg Season to Feat. Mann, Fulton, GUYS & DOLLS and More

Writer Damon Runyon invented Broadway - and Broadway invented the American Musical! Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) will open its 2011 Nutmeg Summer Series with the classic American musical, Guys and Dolls based on Runyon's comic tales of Broadway running June 2-12 in the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre (Lower Jorgensen).

Vincent J. Cardinal to Lead CRT and Drama Department

Vincent J. Cardinal, the current Associate Dean of Performing Arts at Adelphi University, and formerly the Artistic Director of Miami's Jerry Herman Ring Theatre and Associate Artist with Circle Repertory Company, will begin as both Artistic Director of Connecticut Repertory Theatre and head of the Department of Dramatic Arts beginning August 23, 2010.

PTAP Presents The International Voices Project; Readings Slated for May & June

Beginning in May, Premiere Theatre & Performance (PTAP) will present The International Voices Project (IVP), a series of concert readings by playwrights of international origins. These one-night events, produced in collaboration with the Consulate Generals of Spain, France, Japan, Canada, and India will include a performance, a post performance dialogue with the cast and audience, and a reception featuring regional cuisine.

SHAKUNTALA AND THE RING OF RECOGNITION Closes 2/28 at La MaMa E.T.C.

La MaMa E.T.C. in association with The Magis Theatre Company will present Shakuntala and the Ring of Recognition, Kalidasa's 5th century classic, for a limited engagement from February 11-28, 2010, at The Ellen Stewart Theatre (The Annex) at La MaMa, 74A East 4th Street.
