The Chicago theater community will present a wide variety of festive plays and musicals, as well as dance and concert offerings this Holiday season. In support, the League of Chicago Theatres will once again create a comprehensive Holiday Theater Guide that will be available in mid-November at hotels, theaters, events, and destinations across the Chicago area. An updated list of holiday shows with additional details about each production will be available throughout the season at www.chicagoplays.com.

Three celebrated fall album releases certified Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Gold in just one month this October, according to the music group's newest monthly Gold & Platinum certifications PDF.

This December marks the end of OUR HIT PARADE, the "hilarious" (New York Post) live, top-ten countdown at Joe's Pub at The Public that has been the centerpiece of New York's downtown performance art scene for over five years. The final shows will be November 14 at 9:30 PM, followed by two specials on December 19 at 7:30 & 10:00 PM including a 2012 TOP TEN COUNTDOWN and HITS OF OUR HIT PARADE. On Friday night "Jimmy Kimmel Live" concluded its week-long run of shows from Brooklyn's Harvey Theater at BAM - Brooklyn Academy of Music. In an effort to support the thousands of people still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy, "JKL" and ABC will auction off Kimmel's custom-made, Brooklyn-themed desk signed by late-night talk show hosts David Letterman, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel.

A new trailer international trailer for G.I. JOE RETALIATION has been released from Paramount. The film is directed by Jon M.
