WHY WATER FALLS and REMEMBRANCE DAY Coming to NYC

Leigh Curran returns to NYC with WHY WATER FALLS, a play about motherhood at 70 and living to tell the tale at the United Solo Festival, September 30 @ 9:00 pm; and June Ballinger presents REMEMBRANCE DAY, the story of code breaking, secrets, memory and loss in WWII England, at the 13th Street Repertory Theatre, September 11 - 22

NJPAC Launches Stage Exchange Program

New Jersey Theatre Alliance (the Alliance), in partnership with the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) and Newark Celebration 350, is embarking on a groundbreaking new play commission program, NJPAC Stage Exchange: The Commissions, working with three professional New Jersey theatres to produce original works by a talented trio of Garden State playwrights.

Passage Theatre Wins 2015 Barrymore Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Play

Passage Theatre (June Ballinger, Artistic Director; Damion A. Parran, Managing Director), Trenton's only professional theater, won the 2015 Barrymore Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Play for last season's runaway hit Little Rock. The awards, which honor excellence in theatre, was presented on November 2, by Theatre Philadelphia.

McCarter Theatre Center Names Adam Immerwahr Associate Artistic Director

McCarter Theatre Center has announced the appointment of Adam Immerwahr as Associate Artistic Director. Immerwahr, a longtime McCarter staff member with a thriving directorial career, will support McCarter's Artistic Director, Emily Mann, in the planning and execution of the theater's artistic programming. His duties will also include directing for McCarter Theater's main stage, cultivating new works and identifying emerging artists, having primary responsibility for the day-to-day artistic oversight of McCarter's dramatic productions, and coordinating the selection and hiring of freelance artistic personnel.

Passage Theater Announces 2012-13 Season

It's a season of change for Passage Theatre Company, Trenton's only professional theater company. The company will start its 2012-2013 season with a unique, outdoor celebration of Mercer County's landscapes, called Dancescapes NJ.

Passage Theatre Company Opens SLIPPERY AS SIN, 5/17

Passage Theatre Company, Trenton's only professional theater company, will wrap up its 2011-2012 season with Slippery as Sin, running from May 17 to June 3. David Lee White's comic thriller will be directed by Adam Immerwahr - the same team that delivered the 2010 smash hit, Blood: A Comedy.

Trenton's Passage Theatre to Present 11th Annual Solo Flights Festival, 3/2-25

Passage Theatre, Trenton's only professional theater company, will present its 11th Annual Solo Flights Festival from March 2 through March 25. Performances will take place at the Mill Hill Playhouse, located at 205 E. Front Street at the corner of Montgomery Street in the heart of Trenton's historic Mill Hill district.

Passage Theatre, Trenton's only professional theater company, is pleased to announce the New Jersey premiere of Mat Smart's two-person drama Samuel J. and K., a play which traces the complex bond between two brothers as they travel to the homeland of the younger. Directed by Jade King Carroll, performances end May 22 at the Mill Hill Playhouse, which is located 205 E. Front Street in Trenton's Historic Mill Hill district.
