Empire State Building Shines Yellow to Honor THE LION KING's 15th Anniversary on Broadway, 12/4

In celebration of the fifteenth anniversary of Broadway's landmark musical event The Lion King, cast members Alton Fitzgerald White, Chondra La-Tease Profit and Lindiwe Dlamini will 'flip the switch' and light the world-famous Empire State Building's tower lights with the signature color of the production. The lights will shine yellow in honor of the anniversary on Tuesday, December 4, 2012.

SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark is now in its 2nd smash year on Broadway, and has been seen by more than 1 million audience members from around the world. It features music and lyrics by 22-time Grammy® Award-winners Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley (The Boy From Oz), and a book co-written by Julie Taymor, Glen Berger(Underneath The Lintel) and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Fantastic Four and Spider-Man comics, "Big Love"). The cast just took part in a photo shoot for the show's 2013 calendar and you can check out a behind the scenes video below!

'Inside The Lion King,' the first immersive, pop-up exhibit ever created for a Broadway show, arrives adjacent to Bryant Park, on 42nd Street and Avenue of the Americas, for a limited time to celebrate 15 years of The Lion King in New York City. More than 65 million people have experienced The Lion King, but never before like this. In this free exhibit, fans of all ages will experience and interact with 86 museum-quality artifacts including hand-made puppets, sculpted masks, elaborate artisan costumes and extraordinary sets that have appeared in productions from around the world. Jake Epstein, best known as the star of the hugely popular teen series "Degrassi: The Next Generation," will make his Broadway debut as the Peter Parker / Spider-Man Alternate in Broadway's SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark. Epstein will play Saturday and Sunday matinee performances beginning on December 8, 2012 at the Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street).

The Unicorn Theatre's Christmas show, The Prince and The Pauper is a lively adaptation by Jemma Kennedy of Mark Twain's classic story of confused identities. Set in a Tudor London, a young street urchin Tom Canty has a chance meeting with the heir to the throne, Prince Edward VI and by pure coincidence they find they look almost identical.
