OKLAHOMA!, the musical that originated the state song and revolutionized musical theatre, comes sweeping down the plain to the Civic Center Music Hall this summer. Running June 23 through 27, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma's production brings together a cast and creative team with Oklahoma roots. The show is the first of four Lyric productions at the Civic Center in 2015.

Virginia's Signature Theatre presents the world premiere production of Kid Victory, a new musical from legendary composer John Kander (Chicago, Cabaret) and acclaimed playwright Greg Pierce (Slowgirl). Signature Theatre continues its commitment to presenting bold new contemporary plays with the DC area premiere of Sex with Strangers by Laura Eason. After its New York premiere at Second Stage Theatre this summer, Signature is proud to introduce this play to DC audiences. Running now through December 7, Sex with Strangers will be presented in Signature's intimate 110-seat ARK Theatre. Get swept away by an all-star cast in Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma's lush production of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, which runs August 5 through 9 at the Civic Center Music Hall. The show, which features the popular song 'Send in the Clowns', stars Broadway's own Dee Hoty and George Dvorsky. Called 'heady, civilized, sophisticated and enchanting' by the New York Times, Lyric's production is directed by artistic director Michael Baron and includes an original scenic design, new costumes, and a full orchestra.
