As rehearsals started today, final casting is confirmed for the major London production of the Broadway musical comedy, Victor/Victoria. Directed by Thom Southerland and produced by Danielle Tarento, it will run for an 8-week season in The Vault at Southwark Playhouse, from Thursday October 25 - Saturday December 15. Press night is Thursday 1 November at 7.30pm.

Two time Tony Award-winning Goodspeed Musicals has just announced the cast of the new musical The Great American Mousical, to be directed by Julie Andrews. This developmental production will run November 8 - December 2, 2012 at The Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Connecticut. The Great American Mousical will be sponsored by Essex Meadows.

Acclaimed cabaret singer, Broadway performer and host of The Broadway Breakfast on Sirius/XM Radio, Christine Pedi will perform her hilarious holiday show, There's No Bizness Like Snow Bizness at Savannah Georgia's Charles Morris Center on November 29, 2012. Proceeds from this one-night concert will benefit the American Traditions Competition. Happy Birthday, Alan Jay Lerner! Lerner was an American lyricist and librettist. In collaboration with Frederick Loewe, he created some of the world's most popular and enduring works of musical theatre for both the stage and on film. He won three Tony Awards and three Academy Awards, among other honors. Some of his best-know works include My Fair Lady, Briagadoon, Camelot, and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever.
