Producers have tapped 'Call Me Maybe' singer Carly Rae Jepsen to replace Tony nominee Laura Osnes in Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, currently playing on Broadway. Jepsen will step into the role on Feb. 4 for a limited 12-week run.

Following an original live presentation of THE SOUND OF MUSIC on NBC, the ABC network aired the original film, 'The Sound of Music,' starring Academy Award winner Julie Andrews on Sunday, December 22nd.

The Library of Congress has today announced its annual list of 25 films that will be included in the National Film Registry.

Disney previously announced that for one week only, guests will have the opportunity to see Disney's upcoming 'Saving Mr. Banks, ' starring Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks, in a state-of-the-art movie theater on the Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, California, and then walk in Walt Disney's footsteps on a special tour of the famous lot. This limited engagement features one show daily at 7 p.m. from today, December 13th through December 19th.

Disney announced today that tickets to its Special Limited Engagement at the Walt Disney Studios, featuring their highly anticipated film “Saving Mr. Banks,” have sold out one week in advance of the event that runs seven nights from December 13 through December 19. Tickets are still available for the limited engagements at select theaters in the following cities: Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, San Francisco, Toronto and Washington D.C. Iconic movie musical MARY POPPINS has just been released on Blu-ray in a special fiftieth anniversary edition and one of the stars on the film, Karen Dotrice, who portrayed young Jane Banks, reflects on the lasting legacy of the film, her onset rapport with Julie Andrews and the new POPPINS-centric feature film SAVING MR. BANKS as part of a new interview.

THE SOUND OF MUSIC will air on the small screen yet again this holiday season. This time ABC will broadcast the 1965 film version, starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, on December 22 (7pm).

BANKS' Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson joined legendary stars on the red carpet last night in Burbank, California for the premiere of their highly anticipated film, hitting theaters on December 20th. 'Mary Poppins' actors Dick Van Dyke and Julie Andrews joined 'Banks' cast members Paul Giamatti, Colin Farrell and Bradley Whitford and many more at the event held at Walt Disney Studios.
