JUST THEATER (JT) presents the World Premiere of In From The Cold by Jonathan Spector, opening with a press night on Monday, November 3 (Previews Nov 1 & 2) running through November 23 in the Live Oak Theatre, 1301 Shattuck Ave (at Berryman) in North Berkeley, in which a Cold War spy's past maybe isn't past after all, the secret meaning of 80s movies is revealed, and its Ladies Night at Chilis. In From The Cold is a funny and provocative new play about what is means when you used to mean a lot, and now you don't mean much anymore.

Marin Shakespeare Company launched its 2013 outdoor summer season with what is believed to be the West Coast premiere of Thomas Kyd's 'The Spanish Tragedy.' The outdoor production, featuring Julian Lopez-Morillas as Hieronimo, continues with performances through Aug. 11 at Forest Meadows Amphitheatre in San Rafael, Calif. The production, which opens Cal Shakes' 35th anniversary season, will run May 27-June 21 at the Bruns Memorial Amphitheater.

Representing the print and electronic media, 23 members of the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle announce the winners of 37 Drama awards and 37 Musical awards from 257 nominated actors, designers, productions, and more reviewed in 2008. Over 400 productions were seen in 2008 by Circle critics reviewing theatre from San Jose to Santa Rosa, San Francisco to Concord.
