York Theatre Company launched its new "New2NY" series last weekend with a concert presentation and New York premiere of the musical Jack: A Musical Drama on the Life of John F. Kennedy, with book and lyrics by Tom Sawyer and Will Holt, music by Will Holt, and based on a an original concept by Tom Sawyer. Performances were November 1-3 at York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's. Below, check out a look at the cast on stage!

Directed by Igor Goldin, and with Music Direction by Matt Castle, the cast features Frank Anderson, Wilson Bridges, Patrick Cummings, Jessica Grove, Julia Johanos, Anne Kanengeiser, Erick Pinnick, Lauren Sterling, Debra Walton, and William Zeffiro. As previously announced, the York Theatre Company will present the New York premiere of two musicals: a 'New2NY' concert presentation of Jack: A Musical Drama on the Life of John F. Kennedy, and a Developmental Lab presentation of Buddy's Tavern, with book by Raymond De Felitta, music by Kim Oler, and lyrics by Alison Hubbard at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

On Monday, August 12th STAGES ST. LOUIS hosted Legally HOT,a one-night-only cabaret event benefiting the organization's Education and Artistic Programs. Legally HOT featured some of STAGES' favorite talents including Ben Nordstrom (currently playing Emmett in Legally Blonde, The Musical) and Zoe Vonder Haar (who played Louise in the recent hit production of Always... Patsy Cline). The show also featured cast members from Legally Blonde, The Musical, including Heather Jane Rolff (Paulette), Brandon Davidson (Warner), Stephen Barnowski, Melinda Cowan, Patch David, Joe Grandy, Julia Johanos, and Jonathan Kwock as they let off a little steam and beat the summer heat. Under the direction of STAGES Associate Artistic Director Stephen Bourneuf, with additional choreography by Ron Gibbs and Vince Pesce, this fifth annual Cabaret was fun, fresh, and financially successful, beating last year's record.
