Today we are turning back the clocks to 1969 and the opening of one of Broadway's longest-running hits, OH! CALCUTTA!

Continuing its commitment to developing new works, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley will gather playwrights and composers from across the nation for its 2015 New Works Festival at Palo Alto's Lucie Stern Theatre, where the public can attend performances, offer feedback, and participate in a panel discussion with the artists. 

On June 23 at 5pm, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival will celebrate the grand re-opening of Blake's Barn, home of its extensive dance Archives, with a ribbon cutting ceremony and exclusive performance of Antony Tudor's Trio Con Brio by New York Theatre Ballet.

Brandon Victor Dixon and Steven Pasquale will join the previously announced Sutton Foster in Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party, running July 15 - 18, 2015 at New York City Center. (NOTE: Brandon Victor Dixon will replace the previously announced Joshua Henry, who has had a scheduling conflict.) The production will be directed by Leigh Silverman, with choreography by Sonya Tayeh. Jeanine Tesori is the Artistic Director of Encores! Off-Center and Chris Fenwick is Music Director.

May 26, 2015 - (Becket, MA) Following the critical acclaim and record-breaking attendance of Festival 2014, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival opens its 2015 season in June. Highlights of Festival 2015 include Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host, a special dance and radio stage production starring Ira Glass, host of This American Life; the return of Nederlands Dans Theater 2; the world premiere of American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Daniil Simkin's INTENSIO; Cuban contemporary ensemble Malpaso Dance Company, performing with GRAMMY Award-winning pianist and composer Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Ensemble; and the launch of Martha Graham Dance Company's 90th Anniversary, including a world premiere by eminent choreographer Mats Ek. 

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce Altman's Art, a screening of Gosford Park and a discussion of the work of one of Americas greatest filmmakers on Monday, June 8 at 7 pm. The evening will also include a talkback hosted by Bob Balaban, with Guilia D'Agnolo Vallan, and Kathryn Altman-the widow of Robert Altman. Sonoma Theatre Alliance, the consortium of North Bay based theater companies, has announced a new name, new direction and new team for its theatrical and entertainment presentations at the recently remodeled Rotary Stage at Andrews Hall, located at the Sonoma Community Center in downtown Sonoma, CA.

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company will present a one night only concert to benefit the company: Tony Award and Grammy Award-nominated composer and lyricist ANDREW LIPPA will be joined by Christina DeCicco (Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark, Evita), Adam Kantor (The Last Five Years, Rent, Avenue Q), and Christiane Noll (Ragtime, Jekyll & Hyde) and in a unique one night only concert, We're Keen on Andrew Lippa.

The Bryn Mawr College Performing Arts Series presents two opportunities to witness two different lineups of extraordinary performers on January 30 and 31 at 8:00 PM at the Hepburn Teaching Theater in Goodhart Hall. Each night features a different headliner joined by an array of other performers and concludes with an audience participation dance party. Most sets will last just twelve minutes, enabling the adventurous artists (and the audience) to take risks.

The first act is based on Mark Twain's 'The Diary of Adam and Eve,' the second act is based on Frank R. Stockton's 'The Lady or the Tiger?' and the third act is based on Jules Feiffer's 'Passionella.'

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) just announced the U.S. premiere of the new musical, AMERICAN PSYCHO, featuring a book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (2ST's Good Boys and True, 'Glee,' Broadway's Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark), music and lyrics by Grammy and Tony-Award Winner Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening), directed by Rupert Goold (Broadway's Macbeth with Patrick Stewart, ENRON). AMERICAN PSYCHO is based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis.
