PBS announced today the broadcast premiere dates for the diverse slate of performing arts specials that will air as part of the 2016 PBS Arts Fall Festival.

"Everything's Coming Up Roses" as Gypsy debuts this Saturday at the Washington County Playhouse Dinner Theater! The ultimate book and backstage musical displays one of the most infamous "stage mothers" in musical theater while providing the back story and origins to one of the most famous burlesque artists, Gypsy Rose Lee.

Music Theatre of Connecticut MainStage, Fairfield County's professional award-winning theatre company, will open its 30th Anniversary Season with a revamped production of "Gypsy." The season-opener will run September 9-25.

The Old Globe today announced the first production of its 2017 Summer Season: Guys and Dolls, a musical fable of Broadway. Based on the stories and characters by Damon Runyon, with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, Guys and Dolls will be directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes, returning to the Globe after the great successes of Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, which he directed, and Bright Star, which he choreographed.

Tony Award winners Leslie Odom, Jr. (Hamilton) and Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple), and Grammy Award-nominated singer and songwriter Kenny Lattimore will bring their powerful voices and dynamic stage presence to NJPAC's 21st Annual Spotlight Gala of the Women's Association of NJPAC on Saturday, October 1.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Nancy Dussault in "MY LIFE UPON THE WICKED STAGE" on September 27, 2016 @ 7:00PM. Nancy will take the audience on a musical journey, returning to those heady days of her Broadway life. Expect this Golden Age leading lady to sing the brilliant songs of Richard Rodgers, Jule Styne, Burton Lane, and Stephen Sondheim. You'll also get to re-live the time when she introduced the classic, "Make Someone Happy". Nancy will regale with tales of being the first co-host of Good Morning America, co-starring in the New Dick Van Dyke show, and starring with Ted Knight in "Too Close For Comfort", before returning to Broadway in Side By Side By Sondheim and Into The Woods. In "My Life-Upon The Wicked Stage" Dussault brings her musicality, comedic storytelling, and unique personal accessibility to songs including "Getting Married Today", "Look To The Rainbow", "Where Is The Tribe For Me", "Old Friend" and of course, " Make Someone Happy".

Mikayla Petrilla will be playing a principal role in Phoenix Productions' upcoming September revival of GYPSY. This show will take place at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank for a two-weekend run beginning September 16th.

Rising musical theatre comedienne Rebecca Spigelman will be making her solo concert debut at Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, on October 6th, 2016, in her new cabaret REBECCA SPIGELMAN: 16 GOING ON 70.
