The award-winning York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director) announces casting for the next offering in its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series: New York, New York.

The Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County today announced an all-star line-up for its upcoming Town Hall Meeting titled, 'Art Works: The Impact of Arts and Culture on Communities,' with the Chair of the National Endowment for the Arts, Rocco Landesman.

"On May 3rd, we will present a piece in which the goal is to help raise awareness on the topic of equality for all people" says Judith Blazer, founder. A host of Broadway artists will join the evening to support the innovative theatre company and school, The Artist's Crossing. ALL THINGS EQUAL is a provocative evening of song and spoken word that will explore the struggle of human beings to achieve equality on every front in our community, our country and the world. It will be presented at 7 pm on Monday, May 3rd 2010 at the Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street, New York, NY 10012.

Rita Gardner, Original Louisa joins 'They Were You' concert, a benefit for Artist's Crossing, and $25 Tickets offered

A host of Broadway stars will perform in an evening celebrating three generations of working artists entitled 'They Were You' to support the innovative theatre company and school, THE ARTIST'S CROSSING at 7pm on Tuesday, May 13th, 2008 at Barrow Street Theatre, 27 Barrow Street, New York, NY 10014.

New York City Opera's 64th season comes to a close with its final performing weeks, beginning with the revival of Bernstein's Candide opening on Tuesday, April 8 at 7:30PM. Mark Lamos' production of Puccini's Madama Butterfly continues with Yunah Lee as Cio-Cio San on Wednesday, March 26 at 7:30PM.

The Harold Prince production of Leonard Bernstein's Candide returns to the repertoire of New York City Opera on Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Daniel Reichard will sing the title role in all 14 performances. Joining him is Richard Kind, Lauren Worsham and Lielle Berman with Judith Blazer.
