American Theater Company (ATC) continues its 25th anniversary season with the Chicago premiere of Distracted, written by Lisa Loomer. The production is directed by Artistic Director PJ Paparelli and will run January 28 - February 28, 2010 at American Theater Company, 1909 W. Byron Street, Chicago. Press Opening is to be determined.

Motion picture star of over 17 films, including her Golden Globe nominated performance as Nellie Forbush in the 1958 blockbuster musical South Pacific, TV star of 9 spectacular musical specials that garnered 17 Emmy nominations, and night club performer extraordinaire in Las Vegas and touring the entire US and Canada, this lady has done it all. As part of this season's month long tribute to Richard Rodgers by Reprise Theatre Company and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Joshua Logan's film South Pacific, Miss Gaynor will appear onstage this Thursday, October 15 at the Majestic Crest Theatre in Westwood.

New York actor, teacher, and producer, Michael Fischetti will be at Cape May Stage on Monday evening, October 19 at 8 p.m. reading a collection of poetry about the human condition in a time of war called We Are All Brothers: Anti-War Poetry Through the Ages. As we debate our nation's involvement in Afghanistan, Mr. Fischetti will repeat his New York triumph with poems from Homer to Owen to our most contemporary voices in the Equity theatre's Second Stage Series. Performing a selection of timeless pieces that Fischetti selected, this performance is sure to challenge certain beliefs, raise questions, and inspire future discussions.

From September 8-16, BAMcinématek, the repertory film program at BAM Rose Cinemas, presents Robert Redford: Artist & Activist, a 16-film tribute to Redford's 50-year career in film. Robert Redford will be at BAM in-person to discuss his work as one of the 20th century's most celebrated actors and as an Academy-award winning director, as well as a leading environmental and social change activist, and champion of independent cinema as founder of The Sundance Institute.

As an eight year-old in New Jersey, Faugno fell in love with musical theater. when he injured himself playing sports he made the decision to give up sports and study dance and theater. Blessed with understanding parents and outstanding teachers, Faugno (that's pronounced 'Fawn-Yo') got his first part at the age of 12 in The Will Rogers Follies on Broadway. He played Judd Hirsch's son in the Herb Gardner play Conversations With My Father and has appeared in regional theater across the USA. At the moment, he's a Las Vegas Strip fixture playing Frankie Valli in the terrific Jersey Boys.

Seattle's ACT (A Contemporary Theatre) presents Richard Dresser's take on corporate drudgery with 'Below the Belt'. Starring TV and stage comedy veteran Judd Hirsch, they are billing this as 'The Office' meets Samuel Beckett. But it plays more like a cliché sitcom than a social commentary.
