The American Film Institute's annual festival announced the line up for its Centerpiece Galas today. Featured in the top spots will be Ang Lee's Life Of Pi, Walter Salles' On The Road, DreamWorks Animation's Rise Of The Guardians and Jacques Audiard's Rust And Bone starring Marion Cotillard. Also included will be the world premiere of HITCHCOCK, starring Anthony Hopkins in the title role.
The 60th edition of the San Sebastian Festival will this year bestow its Donostia Awards on actors John Travolta, Ewan McGregor and Tommy Lee Jones and the Special 60th Anniversary Donostia Award going to director Oliver Stone. In 1969, Jones made his Broadway debut in John Osborne's A Patriot for Me. His other Broadway appearances include Four on a Garden and Ulysses in Nighttown.

Jesucristo Superstar regresa a Valencia este fin de semana con dos únicas funciones. El reparto está encabezado por Leo Jiménez en el papel de Jesucristo, Gema Hernández en el papel de Maria Magdalena, Carlos Cabrelles como Judas y Javier Santes como Pilates. José Maria Requena será Herodes y apoéstol, Annás será Tanke Ruiz, Caifás será interpretado por Ramón de Andrés, Simón por Miguel Ángel González y Pedro por Eduard Forés.

Después del éxito obtenido por Andersen, el musical de los cuentos, en distintos teatros de España, CANDILEJA producciones ha creado su nuevo musical: La gran aventura de Pinocho, un espectáculo musical cargado de números musicales, efectos visuales y mucha magia, que se podrá ver a partir del 29 de octubre en el teatro La Latina de Madrid. Las funciones serán los sábados a las 12 y a las 16 y los domingos a las 12. Se trata de una versión actualizada que sitúa a Pinocho en la actualidad y le convierte en un niño de verdad. La gran aventura de Pinocho muestra valores como la familia, el cuidado del medio ambiente o la diferencia entre el bien y el mal.

El espectáculo musical Héroes de Pacotilla llegará a Oviedo el próximo sábado 17 de septiembre, con una única función a las 19:00h y con un precio de 10€. El musical incluye canciones de Txus de Mägo de Oz. La compañía, que anteriormente había estado en el Teatro Compac de Madrid, colgó el cartel de 'No hay entradas' una semana antes de su estreno.
