BWW Recap: Liza 'Shows Us Her Oates' in Episode 2 of YOUNGER

It's episode 2 -- the second of the Series Premiere double header -- and now, the series is starting to take shape! Of course, Liza's still struggling, but progressing in de-aging herself and keeping up with all the slang — you can really see how hard she's trying!! In fact, when we open up, she's looking at an intricately designed web chart — trying to keep up with all the fake details of her guised life — and has a friend deleting her current Facebook page.

Robert Callely's ON A STOOL AT THE END OF THE BAR to Premiere at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters will welcome The Directors Company with ON A STOOL AT THE END OF THE BAR, written by Robert Callely and directed by Michael Parva. ON A STOOL AT THE END OF THE BAR begins performances on Friday, November 14 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 14. Press Opening is Thursday, November 20 at 7:15 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:15 PM; Friday at 8:15 PM; Saturday at 2:15 PM & 8:15 PM; and Sunday at 3:15 PM. Please note, there is no performance on Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving). Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). Yale Drama Teacher Bill Connington Publishes New Book About the Alexander Technique

Newly appointed Yale School of Drama “Lecturer in Acting” Bill Connington publishes his new book today on applying the Alexander Technique to performance. The book is entitled “Physical Expression on Stage and Screen: Creating Unforgettable Performances with the Alexander Technique.” Published today in England, it will be published in the U.S. on August 14th. Brought out by famed theatrical publisher Methuen Drama, the book promises to be invaluable to the individual performer, and has been predicted to be the “go-to book” on the Alexander Technique for performers. It will also be used as a textbook by colleges and performing arts institutions nationwide. Connington is regarded as a world-expert on the Alexander Technique in general, and applying the method to performance specifically. In addition to his recent appointment to Yale, he has taught at Juilliard, NYU, and the Actors Studio MFA Program. Don Winslow Pens Three-Part Serial, EXTREME, Exclusively For Playboy Magazine

Connington penned the play, based on the novella by famous American author Joyce Carol Oates. Urzua will perform the play in Spanish on Friday, May 6th at 8 pm at 353 Studios, 353 West 48th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues, 2nd floor. Urzua translated the play into Spanish, and a production is planned for Mexico City. The performance is an hour long, with an audience discussion to follow. It is free to the public.
