Cast members from the hit musical Kinky Boots wowed an invited audience earlier this week as they visited the city to launch their upcoming visit to Edinburgh Playhouse this Christmas season.

The famous red heels from hit musical KINKY BOOTS strutted straight from the Land Of Lola to Wolverhampton ahead of opening night in October.

Kinky Boots, the winner of every major Best Musical award, is pleased to announce casting for the upcoming UK tour. Callum Francis will play Lola until 15 December 2018 and Kayi Ushe will play the role from 17 December 2018. Paula Lane, known for her role as Kylie Platt in Coronation Street will play Lauren and Joel Harper-Jackson will play Charlie.

Mack & Mabel, which will embark on a UK & Ireland Tour in Autumn 2015 following its premiere at Chichester Festival Theatre, stars double Oliver award-winning Michael Ball and Rebecca LaChance. Based on the real-life romance between Hollywood legends Mack Sennett and Mabel Normand, it tells the story of a group of pioneering filmmakers who changed the world surrounded by the great fun of the silent screen: heroes in capes, girls tied to the tracks, glamorous BathingBeauties and the chaos of the Keystone Kops. The full cast has been confirmed for the major new production of the classic Broadway musical Mack & Mabel, which will embark on a UK & Ireland Tour in Autumn 2015 following its premiere at Chichester Festival Theatre, and stars double Oliver award-winning Michael Ball and Rebecca LaChance.

The Confession Room will return to London this summer in a special one-off concert at the St. James Studio on Sunday 13th July. It is now confirmed that the production will star Jon Robyns, Rebecca Trehearn and Stuart Matthew Price with West End performers Matthew Rowland, Stephanie Clift and Rebecca Jayne-Davies amongst others. The production will be directed by Paul Foster with musical direction by Tim Evans.

Written by Dan Looney & Sam Champness, The Confession Room began as one song. When studying at Southend College, they realised the song had legs and therefore began to add more numbers and develop a show with a strong concept behind it. What has been achieved since then is an extraordinary piece of original writing about a room where people go to reveal their secrets and embarrassing stories to strangers rather than facing humiliation in front of their peers.
