As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the Pulitzer Prize winning play Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar will play its final Broadway performance on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Lyceum Theatre, 149 West 45th Street. As of that date, it will have played 149 performances and 27 previews. In addition to the Pulitzer Prize, Disgraced received Obie and Joseph Jefferson Awards. Roundabout Theatre Company just announced a new Broadway production of SHE LOVES ME, starring Tony winner Laura Benanti (Gypsy, Nine) as "Amalia" and Josh Radnor (Disgraced, "How I Met Your Mother") as "Georg", directed by six-time Tony nominee Scott Ellis. This classic musical comedy features a book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock.
The eight productions discussed include: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time; Disgraced; The Last Ship; The Real Thing; The River; Side Show; A Delicate Balance and The Elephant Man.
