The 16th Tribeca Film Festival announced the winners of its competition categories at the awards ceremony tonight at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center.

The Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its jurors for the 16th edition, comprised of a group of critically acclaimed filmmakers, award-winning actors working across film, television, and stage, accomplished producers, and cultural leaders.

The New Group has announced that Dolly Wells will join Noah Bean, Norbert Leo Butz, Jon DeVries, Alex Hurt, Zosia Mamet, Jonny Orsini and Grace Van Patten in Hamish Linklater's The Whirligig.

Samuel Goldwyn Films and AMBI Group will partner on the domestic release for the anticipated thriller, LAVENDER.

Slant Theatre Project and Kelli Giddish in association with Wheelhouse Theater opened their World Premiere of Lawrence Dial's IN THE ROOM, directed by Adam Knight, on Thursday, October 27 at the Alchemical Theatre (104 West 14th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue).
