Audra McDonald, Norm Lewis, et al. Nominated for IRNE Awards!

The Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) Awards recognize the extraordinary wealth of talent in the Boston theatre community, and this year's nominations have just been announced. IRNE Reviewers include among others David Brooks Andrews, Sheila Barth, Jules Becker, Kay Bourne, Beverly Creasey, Shirley Esthimer, Richard Fahey, Guy Giampapa, Norm Gross, Nancy Grossman, Bryce Lambert, Beatrice Lee, Kilian Melloy and Larry Stark.

Aurora Theatre Co Presents COLLAPSE

Aurora Theatre Company continues its 19th season with Minneapolis-based playwright Allison Moore's COLLAPSE. This surprising comedy, which originated as one of Aurora Theatre Company's Global Age Project (GAP) finalists last season, is the second main stage production to develop from the GAP; it will receive its main stage debut as a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere, a collaboration with Aurora Theatre Company (lead theater), Curious Theatre in Denver, and Kitchen Dog Theater in Dallas.

Actors Theatre's A Christmas Carol Ends 18-Year Run 12/24

After 18 years, Actors Theatre will tell Charles Dickens' classic story of hope and redemption, A Christmas Carol, for the final time this season at the Herberger Theater Center, 222 E. Monroe, from Dec. 4-24.

John Doran, David Groff Elected to Actors Theatre Board

John Doran, an attorney with Greenberg Traurig, LLP, and David Groff, President, Westgate Sports and Entertainment, have been elected to the Actors Theatre Board of Directors. Doran and Groff will each serve three-year terms.
