The 58th Annual Drama Desk Awards will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 8:00 PM at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street). The Awards show is written by Bill Rosenfield and directed by Jack Cummings III (co-founder and artistic director of Transport Group).

The producers of A Christmas Story, The Musical, including Peter Billingsley, who starred as Ralphie in the original 1983 film, are holding open auditions to find exceptionally talented kids for the upcoming 2013 production. Recently nominated for three 2013 Tony Awards including Best Musical,A Christmas Story, The Musical seeks young actors to play Ralphie, his friends and classmates, including: Randy, Flick, Schwartz, Scut Farcus, Grover Dill, Mary Beth, and Esther Jane.

HTY Extends CHARLOTTE'S WEB Through 5/28

Honolulu Theatre for Youth has extended the performance run of its season finale Charlotte's Web, the Newbery Medal-winning children's tale by E.B. White. Originally onstage through May 11, an 8th performance has been added on Saturday, May 18 at 2:30 p.m. All performances are at Tenney Theatre on the grounds of The Cathedral of St. Andrew.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that A Christmas Story, The Musical!, which played the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre for the 2012 holiday season, might be heading back to the Great White Way this year. A show respresentative revealed that following a mini-tour to Hartford's Bushnell Theatre (November 12-17) and Boston's Wang Theatre (November 20-December 8), producers are considering bringing the show back to Broadway.
An official announcement has not yet been made.

Main Street Theater's next Theater for Youth production is E.B. White's Charlotte's Web (adapted for the stage by Joseph Robinette). All of MST's Theater for Youth productions are based on children's literature.

Main Street Theater's next Theater for Youth production is E.B. White's loving, delightful, and truly profound Charlotte's Web (adapted for the stage by Joseph Robinette). All of MST's Theater for Youth productions are based on children's literature.
Charlotte's Web performs Saturdays, April 20 - May 18 at 1pm and 4pm at Main Street Theater-Chelsea Market, 4617 Montrose Boulevard in the Museum District.
