Theatre East and Yale Alumni Association of New York will present Elizabeth Parrish with the Laurette Taylor Award on Thursday, May 28th at Ramscale Studio South, 463 West Street, in the West Village Highline district, NYC. The benefit starts at 7pm with an exclusive cocktail reception, followed by dinner at 8pm. The award will be presented to Ms. Parrish by Kate Mulgrew (Orange is the New Black). The ceremony will include tributes by alumna Meryl Streep and the Stella Adler Studio's Artistic Director, Tom Oppenheim.

Theatre East presents Devil and the Deep, a new musical reimagining of Robert Louis Stephenson's Treasure Island, at Theater 3 (311 West 43rd Street, NY 10036). Previews begin Saturday, June 6 and the Opening is Thursday, June 11th for the limited engagement. Music and lyrics are by Graham Russell (Air Supply) and Katie McGhie, with book and additional lyrics by Melissa Bell. It is directed by Lisa Devine, with choreography by Sarita Moore. The musical direction and arrangements are by Josh Freilich. Set design is by Alisa Keegan, with costume design by Adrienne Carlile, and lighting design by Jess Burgess. The sound design is by John D. Ivy, puppetry design by Tanya Khordoc & Barry Weil (Evolve Company), and fight choreographer is Alex Reed. The production manager is Dan Baker, Kristi Hess is the production stage manager, assistant production stage manager is Tina Truong, and the assistant director Christa Kimlicko Jones.

The Acting Company in association with The Guthrie Theater presents William Shakespeare's "Macbeth," directed by Devin Brain, Friday, March 20, 8 p.m.; and "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court," adapted by acclaimed playwright Jeffrey Hatcher from the novel by Mark Twain, directed by Ian Belknap, Saturday, March 21 at 8 p.m. Both performances take place at the McAninch Arts Center, 425 Fawell Blvd., on the campus of College of DuPage. THEATRE EAST will present Dominic Chianese, best known for his role as Corrado "Junior" Soprano on the HBO TV series The Sopranos, with its 2014 LAURETTE TAYLOR AWARD on Monday, May 19, at Trinity Place, 115 B'way (between B'way and Trinity Place) in lower Manhattan. The benefit begins with a VIP Cocktail Hour at 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm begins the dinner, program and music. David Chase, who created the hit award-winning television series, will host the event.
