Artistic director Shane Howard will bring together some of the finest Australian and Irish artists and musicians including Paul Kelly (AUS), Declan O'Rourke (IRE), Pauline Scanlon (IRE), Sean Tyrrell (IRE), John Spillane (IRE), Leah Flanagan (AUS), Steve Cooney (IRE), Aine Tyrrell (AUS/IRE) and Lynnelle Moran (AUS) to present the newly created Exile: Songs & Tales of Irish Australia. This vibrant tapestry of stories, imagery and music celebrating the rich Irish influence in this country will play one night only in Queensland Performing Arts Centre's (QPAC's) Concert Hall on Monday 29 February 2016, as part of a national tour.

Saturday, January 31 marked the 42nd Annual Annie Awards recognizing the year's best in animation. The black tie event kicked off at 5 p.m. with Red Carpet arrivals and a VIP champagne reception, followed by the awards ceremony at 7 p.m. and after-party immediately following the show. Sarasota Middle School Honor Choir will perform an opening number of 'Joyful Voices' on the evening performance of Dave Koz's Holiday Tour at the Van Wezel, Friday, November 28 at 8pm. Dallas Theater Center brings a brand new adaptation of the Dickens classic A Christmas Carol to the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre at the AT&T Performing Arts Center for the first time. DTC Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty wrote the new adaptation and will direct the holiday favorite, with choreography by Joel Ferrell. A Christmas Carol makes its Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre debut on November 21 and runs through December 24.
