Triskelion Arts presents LaneCoArts in Shouts and Murmurs, a repertory of three new works, held at 8 pm on October 25, 26, and 27, 2018. The centerpiece of each evening is two works by choreographer Lane Gifford, artistic director of LaneCoArts: 'Then There Are None' and a premiere entitled 'Askew'. A third work, 'Star Tracks and Collapsar,' has been choreographed by guest choreographer Guanglei Hui. The program explores themes of culture, contemporary politics and life cycles. Eryc Taylor, Artistic Director of ERYC TAYLOR DANCE, today announced winners of the Eryc Taylor Dance New Choreographer Grant (ETD/NCG), a program offering young, aspiring NYC-based choreographers the funds needed to create and present a new dance work.
The Paley Center for Media, the entertainment industry's leading nonprofit, has named Jordan Ryder, Vice President, Industry Programming. Ms. Ryder comes to the Paley Center from the Milken Institute where she most recently held the position of Senior Advisor, Programming and Events. Reporting to Diane Lewis Executive Vice President, Programming, she will be responsible for the program development of the Paley International Council Summit and the Paley Media Council's Dialogue and Next Big Thing series.
