On Saturday, October 2nd (Noon - 4PM) and Wednesday, October 6th & 8th (4:00 - 6:00), winner of the White House's "Coming Up Taller" Award and the first youth ensemble ever recognized by the prestigious Drama Desk Awards, TADA! Youth Theater will hold open auditions for their celebrated Youth Ensemble with 25 spots to fill for the upcoming season.

On the middle Fridays of the month (i.e. not the first and last), BOOM Chicago presents the long-running Late Nite Improv.

Seth Meyers and Jason Sudeikis from Saturday Night Live, Pete Grosz from The Colbert Report, and Jordan Peele from MadTV will appear as part of BOOM CHICAGO: ALL STARS, a special one night only show from the critically acclaimed Dutch-based comedy troop Boom Chicago, on Sunday, September 13th at 8:30 p.m. on Governors Island.

This morning, July 17th 2008 the nominations for the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced by Kristin Chenoweth and Neil Patrick Harris. The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 13th at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
