Classic Stephen Sondheim musical Follies will be broadcast live to cinemas across the UK and internationally on Thursday November 16th as part of National Theatre Live.

The first footage of Angels in America - hailed by critics as one of the theatre shows of the year - has been released ahead of its broadcast in cinemas next month as part of National Theatre Live. Part 1 will be in cinemas on Thursday 20th July and Part 2 on Thursday 27th July. National Theatre Live previously announced international broadcasts of the Rufus Norris' National Theatre production of The Threepenny Opera by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill, in collaboration with Elisabeth Hauptmann, in a new adaptation by Simon Stephens tonight, September 22, 2016; and, Carrie Cracknell's acclaimed National Theatre production of Terence Rattigan's The Deep Blue Sea on Thursday, October 6, 2016.

Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from her husband Brad Pitt. The couple has been together since 2004. Citing irreconcilable differences, Jolie is asking for physical custody of their six kids, with Pitt having visitation rights.
