Brisbane's renowned Southern Cross Soloists will conclude their 2016 concert season at Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) with their Heavenly Voice performance on Sunday 27 November in QPAC's Concert Hall.

BroadwayWorld's Kevin Pollack was lucky enough to get a one-on-one exclusive with Oscar and Grammy winner and 6-Time Tony nominee Stephen Schwartz this past weekend on his stop through Chicago at The McAninch Arts Center at College. His tour stop was only one of a few for a show entitled 'An Evening with Stephen Schwartz and Friends.'

The Ailey organization is launching a Young New York program in conjunction with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's annual holiday season at New York City Center (November 30 - December 31).

On Friday, November 4, classic song stylist and songwriter Kiki Ebsen presents her Joni Mitchell Project (TM) as they return to Vitello's Upstairs in Studio City.

Many New York cabaret performers have tackled the songbook of the iconic Joni Mitchell, but few have put the kind of transformative twist on it the way Remy Block did when she performed On a Lonely Road: Travelin' with Joni between 2014-2015 at Don't Tell Mama and The Duplex. Block's tribute to the legendary pop singer/songwriter was a personal exploration of a young woman's life as a seeker, a lover, and an artist, with Mitchell's tunes serving as the "sacred text and rough guide" for her journey. Cabaret show reviewers raved about Remy's take on Joni's songs. Now, Remy Block is bringing a revised version of On a Lonely Road: Travelin' with Joni to PANGEA (178 2nd Avenue, between 11th and 12th Streets) on November 7 at 9:30 pm and December 8 at 7 pm.

The acclaimed 85-voice-strong San Diego Women's Chorus (SDWC) invites you to their fall concert, Everything She Touches, on Saturday November 19 at 7:00pm and Sunday November 20 at 4:00pm. The concerts will take place at the beautiful state-of-the-art CPMA Theatre in Clairemont (5050 Conrad Avenue, 92117). In preparation for her return engagement at Feinstein's/54 Below, Melissa Errico was looking for answers, but she ended up with far more questions. In fact, much of the Tony-nominated mother of three's life and career as of late seems to be cloaked in indefinable uncertainty. She recently penned an op-ed for The New York Times detailing the confounding reality of being an actress who is not yet old but no longer 'an ingenue' and yet continues to work in the business of Broadway. Errico is all too aware of the current impasse of her life and, in an embrace, she dedicated her show, FUNNY, I'M A WOMAN WITH CHILDREN, to that very not-knowing. Nearly all of her songs throughout her performance on September 20---the first of four in her run---had the central theme of questioning because, as artists have done for centuries and which Errico set out to do this evening, to make sense of life through art is any creator's most powerful capability.
