A treasure trove of classic TV!

This summer, Museum of the Moving Image will present See It Big! 70mm, every weekend from August 7 through 30, featuring eight films made between 1961 and 2014 -- all of them shot in 70mm and to be shown in 70mm prints in the majestic Sumner M. Redstone Theater.

Act II Playhouse in Ambler is proud to present 'Big Pants and Hot Flashes,' with comedians Kevin Meaney and Julia Scotti, on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 8 p.m.

'The Gospel Tradition: In Performance at the White House' showcases an evening of celebration with President and Mrs. Obama at the White House in honor of gospel music and its profound influence on American music.

 Beginning July in Las Vegas, Don Barnhart, Sr, Director of such notable shows as Mork & Mindy, Full House and Saved by the Bell will offer an ongoing actors workshop at The Las Vegas Comedy Institute working with actors preparing them to take their performance to the next level.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will present the 18th annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor to Eddie Murphy on October 18, 2015 in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall. The Prize, which is named to honor one of the world's greatest humorists, will be given at a gala performance featuring some of the biggest names in comedy, and will be taped for broadcast nationwide. Event tickets will go on sale through the Kennedy Center's Special Events Office on Monday, May 11.

When two visionary performer/playwrights from opposite coasts converge for the first time ever, theatrical fireworks ensue! Kaliyuga Arts, resident theatre company of Catskill's new Bridge Street Theatre, having established a reputation for presenting innovative, cutting edge material in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, and now in the Hudson Valley, presents what promises to be their wildest evening ever: A surreal performance art double-bill called OUT OF THIS WORLD. The evening will open with UP FROM THE GROUND by Dan Carbone followed by SIGN FELT! (a show about nothingness) by Alexandra Tatarsky. Performances will take place tonight, April 10 and Saturday April 11 at 7:30pm and on Sunday April 12 at 2:00pm at the Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill, NY.

'My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm In Therapy!' will be performed by Steve Solomon at UCPAC on January 24th at 8:00. Solomon wrote the hit show and performed it on Broadway.
